Tune4Me Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Tune4Me is built to feel simple and low-pressure. This policy explains what information is used when you create playlists, preview music, save songs, contact support, or use optional paid support features.

Information You Provide

When you describe a mood or music idea, that text is sent to our playlist service so an AI model can help create recommendations. If you use the support form, your name, contact information, topic, and message are sent to Formspree so we can receive and respond to your request.

Local Device Storage

Tune4Me stores saved songs, liked songs, disliked songs, playlist history, preview counts, and archive-limit information in your browser's localStorage. This information stays on your device unless your browser, extensions, device backups, or other tools sync or expose it. Clearing browser data can remove it.

AI Processing

Mood prompts and local song preference context may be sent to OpenAI to generate playlist recommendations. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, emergency, financial, or confidential information into Tune4Me.

YouTube Previews

Tune4Me uses YouTube API Services, YouTube search, and embedded YouTube previews to help you listen. Song and artist search text may be sent to the YouTube API when you request a preview. Playback and YouTube pages are governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics

Tune4Me may collect basic usage analytics, such as app loads, playlist creation, preview clicks, save counts, limit events, and error categories. Tune4Me does not intentionally send song titles, artist names, raw mood prompts, or full playlist responses in analytics events.

Payments

Optional paid archive expansion is processed by Stripe. Tune4Me does not receive or store full payment card details. Stripe may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own policies.

Cookies

Tune4Me itself mainly uses localStorage. Third-party services such as YouTube, Vercel Analytics, Formspree, and Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Sharing

Tune4Me uses service providers to operate the app: OpenAI for playlist generation, YouTube/Google for previews, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Formspree for support messages, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell personal information.

Your Choices

You can avoid entering sensitive information, clear browser localStorage, choose not to use previews, choose not to submit the support form, and choose not to use optional paid support features. You may contact us to ask questions about privacy or request help with information you submitted through support.

International Users

Tune4Me and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the app, you understand that information may be handled outside your location.
